BloggingLove Version 1.0.1 is Another Freebie for Everyone

BloggingLove has come along a long way. During this journey, I have distributed the BloggingLove Theme for free. That was the BloggingLove version 1.0.
To improve the look of the theme, I have added some extra features including the typography. Today is the day to provide that freebie for everyone.

You can get it for free. Just a couple of days ago, I read a Facebook update in a group about brainstorming in finding the right WordPress theme.
I have brought up the new era of web development with BloggingLove Theme which is free for everyone.
What’s New In BloggingLove Theme Version 1.0.1?
Lately, I was working on a client’s project who was in need to have a custom WordPress theme.
It was an amazing experience because of the idea of this new typography brought me to update the BloggingLove Theme.
Last month, I have provided the updated version of BloggingLove Theme which had some basic updates of the WordPress codex.
#1. New Fonts For An Elegant Look
Just a few weeks ago, I had a blogger’ meet which was a time I can’t forget.
My blogging friends suggested me to make some changes in the theme which was worth taking an action. We celebrated the third blog anniversary of BloggingLove that week.
I have always considered the size of the theme as a major factor which can stand.
NOTE : If you’re a developer then I would suggest not to use many custom fonts.
It’s because one custom font increases the page loading time by around 0.2 seconds. You wouldn’t need to make any extra HTTP requests.
It’s always recommended to reduce HTTP requests so that page loading time can be maintained.
#2. Better Intended WordPress Codex.
WordPress keeps changing its codex which should be updated along with the time.
Just like the plugins, you should keep an eye on the hooks and functions you have used in a WordPress theme.
Do you know how to check plugins which are no longer present in the WordPress repository? It’s always recommended to avoid outdated plugins to maintain the security of your website.
BloggingLove Theme Version 1.0.1 consists the latest WordPress codex so that it can be compatible with different plugins.
Unlike the first version, this version has been tested with more than twice of the plugins tested before.
#3. Flexible Structure.
It’s the era of smartphones where people are active on their phones than the computers.
The most important factor of a WordPress Theme should be mobile-friendly. This is another freebie for everyone which can adapt the size of any mobile screen.
A few days ago, I was testing this new version on the live server which was one of the worst decisions anyone can take.
NOTE : It’s always recommended to test on the local server.
You can either install WordPress in XAMPP or WAMP is there for both Mac and Windows users.
The mobile functionality wasn’t working on the live server due to the availability of some extra files in the WordPress directory.
At such time, you should always reinstall WordPress.
How Can You Install BloggingLove Theme Version 1.0.1?
You have to copy and paste the URL to your browser’s tab and click the download button from that page.
Most of the people have asked me as if why don’t I give a download link from here only. It’s because of the Google’s terms and conditions.
You shouldn’t conflict with your blog until and unless you are developing a theme provider website.
Another question was about submitting this theme to the WordPress theme repository. Well, you know the availability of the thousands of themes in its directory.
It would be quite hard to make all the changes I am doing right now. All the updates would be brainstorming.
What Are Your Opinions About This Another Freebie For Everyone?
I am happy to know that many people are using the first version of BloggingLove theme which is great.
One of our users asked about the availability of the ad space in this theme. Well, it’s the basic version of this theme which will always be free.
I have developed the advanced version which will out soon with many ad spaces, newsletter space and much more.

Since you are super talented I would suggest you creating and submitting themes to the WordPress.org or themeforest.
I know it is tough but the try is worth it.
For this theme, I know a couple of places where you can give this theme a good mileage. One is, justfreethemes.
Ask them to feature your theme I am sure they’ll approve it because the guys behind it are awesome people.
